I'm new to the site and looking for new friends in Lyon, and maybe more, if we click! I'm not keen on spending months and months emailing about our favourite colours, to be honest. I am new to Seattle, know almost no one! But, I am making the effort to get myself out there... Took myself to dinner last Friday, nice little restaurant down the block. Within 5 minutes of parking myself at the bar, I was in a lively convo with the couple sitting next to me. Meeting them at the same place in two weeks. Yay humans! It's a start. |

Yeah, I think getting out and about is still the best way of meeting people etc. It's just hard on your own. Not sure I have the courage to go to a restaurant solo... so admire you for doing it!
