I'm not sure I ever want to date again after reading all of this.

real good insight!! I think I just tend see things like a Disney movie or something. But in life theres lessons right. Take from it and learn and grow. (I'm bad at taking my own advice)

I don't think what we are saying has a purpose of scaring men away from us.. or stopping berry from being a 1 guy woman. I think we all can be great catches for someone.. we just haven't found that someONE.. yet. We all have the dedication in us...but.. I think we are just being cautious of who we give that dedication to. Everyone doesn't deserve it.

Sorry to hear that boo. Maybe you guys are better off being friends. People with that sense of mind are often unstable with their relationships due to work, and indecisive judgments. Sure we all seek to be loved and needed but as the relationship goes on we learned from one another and things may not seem to be how they should. We ponder over the issues and tried to resolve them but go nowhere then we all have to move on in life and learn from that relationship. So dating is a human nature act to explore and make that final judgement of commitment.

TO ME.......dating means, playing the field, dating multiple people..........

Soooooo....after the first few dates, he is still in the "Im dating" mode.....Id say, well nice knowing you.....but Ive got a date!!!

Personally, I think too much emphasis is put on this dating issue.
I first would just meet the person for a drink or coffee. No pressure, if we click then a date can be scheduled.

After a few formal dates if the person says they are still in the dating mode, I would probably back off until they decided if they wanted to "date" me exclusively.

If you really connect with someone why would they need to keep dating around? That would tell me there really was not much of a connection. I guess it depends on what you are looking for.

Maybe a friend with benefits situation would just be easier.
