It's crazy to wait...As long as it's in a public place I'd say ASAP.You can have a great connection online and when you meet nothing....so why waste time.

I agree with whatagirlwants. Just because there is a connection on line doesn't mean there will be in person. People come across differently via e-mail than they do in person sometimes.

Well, we aren't in the same city/town...but I just got back from a coffee date with a JSH member, Vineman. He had business in the area so we met after I was out of school this afternoon. He lives about 2 hrs. away. Very much a gentleman...had a great visit and may get together again soon, who knows? We only exchnaged a handful of emails before meeting in person.

Talk on the phone first, and if ya seem to hit it off, it's time to get together.

yeah as long as youve had a nice conversation online and on the phone there should be no reason to wait...

to frame this in just a little bit different manner: suppose I say-----I just met this lady at the grocery store today. Talked to her for 5 minutes, and we are having dinner and the movies tonight. Is that too sooon, or should I continue to meet her at the grocery store for several weeks/months before I meet her for dinner? Get real folks...what difference does it make how or where we meet someone? Weirdos and scammers and every other type exist only on the net? (send the hate mail about living dangerously....lol)

I agree with those who said whenever you feel comfortable. Online chemistry and in-person chemistry are very different. And yeah be careful. Have fun and good luck!
