This is a poem I read out loud at my brothers funeral. He was depressed and over dosed on 12.23.12. I miss him everyday.

If I had five minutes, the day you passed away.
I would have had time to tell you, all the things I needed to say.
That last moment I talked to you.
I wish I would of known.
I would of said, "I love you."
And kept you on the phone.
You were the best brother ever.
And I didn't think I could live without you.
But in my head I see your smile, and I know I love you.
If I had five minutes,
The day you passed away.
I'd kiss your cheek, and tell you,
It was okay to go.
Now it's time to claim your wings.
Go to heaven and enjoy all it's amazing things.
So wait for me at it's gate.
And please, don't be late.
I can't wait to see your smiling face.
Even though in my heart it holds it's place.

The Empowered Woman, she moves through the world
with a sense of confidence and grace.

Her once reckless spirit now tempered by wisdom.
Quietly, yet firmly, she speaks her truth without doubt or hesitation

she now knows to be true,
