All language is secular...all language about God is at best metaphor. It is not as though "God is love" is an expression which constricts God to whatever is meant by the term John uses for "love." Where we cannot live to the ideal of the term, God is beyond, other, holy. Indeed to say Jesus was fully human and fully divine is to say that Jesus was and is the fullness of what it means to be human...all that falls short of Jesus is anti-human. It's possible I'm not getting your point...it was not someone from outside of those who experienced and physically followed Jesus that claimed he was human... Never said he was "human" no where did I show we are referred to as "humans". And showed verses God expressing who/what we are. |

He hasn't told us what we are as a "whole" other then in his mentions of "know ye not that ye are god's" and "I have said ye are Gods". But this is getting way off topic from the thread in itself. And the word "god" means authority, or being with authority. Thus we are called gods for we have been given "dominion" over the beasts of this world, or in other words we've been made the dominate species thus we are the beasts "authority". |

A Hindu legend says we were all once gods. But eventually we
abused our powers. Brahma, the chief god, decided to punish us by taking away our divinity. Brahma called a meeting of the other chief gods to figure out where to hide our holiness. One god suggested hiding it deep beneath the earth. No, Brahma said,man will just figure out a way to tunnel miles below the surface. We see the atheist hypocrites criticizing Christianity and Islam, even while they refuse to show whats in their own talmud to anyone? Ever notice that? What's in the Talmud that they want to hide and keep secret? |

The fact is most people even Christians don't know the bible. Errors started by the early Catholic church persist today. WHEN YOU DIE YOU DON'T GO TO HEAVEN RIGHT AWAY BUT SLEEP.
