Almost every guy on here says they are "down to earth". What does "down to earth" mean to you?

Down to earth..that's funny...never gave it much thought...was thinking maybe it means they are normal guys... Then what's normal...geez...and men think women are a mystery...wait...earth is mostly dirt...so maybe they are dirty..hmmm...maybe it's a nice way of saying they are dirty minded...tee hee

I always mean it as a way of saying someones head isnt up in the clouds (loopy, goofy )nor their ego(narcissistic, egocentric, conceited) they are realistic while still being approachable, humble, and imperfect,,,
