If those were my only two choices..I'd rather be single. . In my opinion be with someone I dont love or someone who doesn't love me are both recipes of disaster and heartbreak..flowerforyou

I would never settle .. For either . I want to love and be loved :-)

Lol! Everyone does also Blondey. No argument there. laugh laugh
Hence the statement... Not everyone is lucky in love... ohwell
and yet you said .. You were more likely to choose the latter pitchfork pitchfork pitchfork I am saying I would not settle .. I would rather be single :-)

im just saying... not everyone might be comfortable being alone in the long run...
ive known people to choose obligation over love, sometimes attempt to buy love with money, or camouflage it with s3x.. etc etc...

I find it difficult to imagine someone could love me - as in a true mature adult love relationship if I did not also love him

we aren't talking infatuation here or obsession.

so I will go with either of them because they would be the same personflowerforyou

Not everyone can be lucky in love.
Which would you choose?

Be with the one you love, or go to the one who loves you?

At this point in my life, I'd more likely choose the latter...

There is nothing lonelier than a one sided love arrangement either way you slice it...Best to stay single...

I suppose I understand what you meant by this! You could learn to love someone, but you can't make someone love you. So, if someone loves you enough, he/she would have some finer qualities that are lovable.

It would be like going back to the days of 'arrange marriages' whereby the male chooses a female bride, and she has no say whatsoever in the matter. But these marriages have survived, and some couples are just as loving, probably more than those who went into it based on 'romance'! It is a matter of compromising, being giving for both parties and making an effort to make it work.

I chose to love and be loved, but times puts pressure on that.... and it did not survive the tests of time. I don't know if it can even happen again, but if it is meant to happen, it will.
