On January 7, a mob of radical Islamic terrorists stormed the magazine headquarters. The attackers yelled Allahu Akbar while they used AK-47 type weapons to slaughter 12 people. France has strict gun control, and none of the civilians at the location were armed. What is even more shocking, however, is that the first French police officers to respond to the crisis had to turn around and retreat,because even though they are cops, they were not carrying any weapons. Three policemen had arrived on bikes but had to leave because the men were armed, obviously, stated witness Benoit Bringer, as reported in the Daily Caller. Think about that. Heavily-armed terrorists arrived to commit mass murder over cartoons of Mohammad, and the first responders were three policemen on bikes with no weapons and no way to stop the chaos. It appears that those three bicycle cops were lucky to escape alive. Other police officers were shown no mercy when they were outnumbered by the Muslim terrorists.  Whoa ! I thought I missed something but NO...I verified all of the french info AND NO COP WAS UNARMED. This just goes to show how very careful we also have to be with the "news"....that modify some facts just to fit their opinion. - The police man (on a bike indeed) DID NOT LEAVE BUT CHASED after them shooting. Then...the guys turned around and fired back. On the video you can clearly hear them coming at him and saying: "wtf ? You are trying to kill me ?" Amed Merabet 42 already shot on the ground agonizing answers :" No, it's ok boss" That's when one of the a-holes finishes him with a gun to the head. None of the civilians inside were armed...that is "true"...except for Frank Brinsolaro (Charbs'bodyguard) who had no time to react...being executed at once. This is the information according to quite all french media...and confirmed by the authorities in place. |

Its a shame good God fearing and loving people are stereotyped and associated with terrorist. if you say so... they should quit playing around and just wipe them all out now... As much as I understand your anger and frustration this is not the answer. After all most victims of these fanatics are in fact Muslims. I'm not sure what we can do to stop it besides education but I do know what we can't do and wiping them out is not right. Education will stop it? Like sex education stops teen pregnancies? And drug education wins us the war on drugs?....Brilliant.  And your solution would be surely you are able to sea who cares about what happens to others and those who actually don't, and find all as but entertainment. |

for hatred is but reserved for those who are mean, or nice... for what other standard should exist amoung humans. and mean and nice, comes in all colors, sizes, religions, and shapes. so be a puppet, and regurgitate the propaganda of the dividers, and find the end of what it shall give you. |

Yes David I do and thanks, however perhaps I should have explained more clearly what I meant by education, silly me forgot that not everyone has a brain to think for themselves and that most people are sheep. or followers, where as some, ie myself, actually have an opinion on the matter because I do care about the human race. So to explain. I have no doubt there's not a lot we can do about those who are already radicalized and therefore for the foreseeable future there will be other bombings and shootings and murders.But we can perhaps start to EDUCATE young people so that in maybe 30 or 40 or 50 years this hatred will be a thing of the past. I maybe wrong but I see no other way to end this madness once and for all. You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one - JL |

But a number of important questions remain. Was this attack planned and orchestrated from abroad and if so by whom? Is there any credence to claims made by the gunmen before they died that they were linked to al-Qaeda in Yemen and to Islamic State, two sometimes competing organisations? And what was the real target here, Charlie Hebdo or the entire French nation?
Questions are already being asked of French police and intelligence about how the two Kouachi brothers, well-known for their extremist views and already on US and European no-fly watchlists, were left free to acquire assault rifles and carry out the murderous raid on 7 January.
