pkh -- sorry to hear about your son. He will be in my prayers. As someone who has taken the hard road, I know the positive road is "findable" again. It's hard work, but when you ask for help the road isn't so lonely. I've been taking the positive road for 15 yrs. 1 day at a time. There are self-help groups for you as a parent. It's not easy to detach with love. Hang in there.

Pam so sorry to hear what you are going through. Life is tough no matter what we do for our kids. We try to teach them the right way but at times they till go off the path. Been through my trials with my son as well we just have to stick it out and not every let them forget we love them and we are there fore them. We can only do so much and hope that they hear us. Girl I'm here if you need me all ya have to say is ya wanna talk girl Let me know and I'll give you my number if you need someone to talk too. I know what your going through. It's tough love but will pay off in the end. Just don't give up.

I will send prayers for your precious son. I too have a son who at one time could have gone either way. I know that pain. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your son Pam.

At this time I would like to thank each and everyono of you for sending your prayers for Pam and her Son.


She has asked me if I would post for now and say thank you from the bottom of her heart. You have all touched her soul in so many ways. She is having a very hard time at the moment dealing with all of the things that have been thrown her way.

But wants each of you to know how much this all means to her. For right now Pam and her Son needs all the prayers we can send along with our thoughts to let her know we are here for her when ever she needs us.

I do understand what yur going through I post a poem that took me over 4 hours to write cause it gives a glimpse of what I went through with my son 5 years ago. I'm thankful I still have him and he is clean from the drugs and life is great he has a little girl that will be 5 in Jan which he came close of never getting to know her. She is the apple of her Daddy's eye the diamond that shines.
