and so who is right?

those who think something is right or those who are sure they are wrong for thinking so?

winners of the wars? winners wright the history, not the losers...what would we be like if Hitler would have won? who would be right and wrong there?

majority is usually the acceptance...

details change right and wrong

killing someone ,,WRONG,, unless

the choice is not merely ending a life but which life will end when it is certain someone's will...

lying, wrong,,, unless

it is not a matter of choosing a wrong but choosing between two options that are both wrong

like lying or causing someones death,,,

sometimes wrongs have to be measured,, but they are still wrongs,, some just more understandable/forgivable than others

I can think of NO circumstance, by anyone, that its anything but depoloarable to round up women and children and gas them to death

so Im not sure why there is any question about Hitler

Msharmony's quote from the letter of James in the Bible isn't her thoughts alone any more-so than my thoughts are from the Quran.

Apparently, our thoughts on the matter are very-old time-honoured beliefs.

well, he didn't do it by himself... lots of people thought he was right... i agree with you, but there are people who do not... in their minds, we are the wrong ones...

Hitler, and his would-be superior race, have come to nothing and those who don't have the change-of-heart that sided with his agenda will be sifted from those who have. That is what remorse and changing One's ways is all about.

Some capitulated, some didn't.

That was the greater part of a life-time ago, and those who did have had a long time to think about the vanity of nationalism, and mere human political agendas.

You can call me any name you wish but in my perspective none are perfect and all are doing the best they can with the knowledge or understanding they have at this point in time! The education is not finished yet ! What we are required to do is to even love our enemies according to scripture. I can and have! It's distasteful to many, but not to me! Can you show love and understanding to people who hate you and ridicule you? Can you love those who hate you and denigrate you? Can you forgive those who have despitefully used you? I can! I forgive and let go! It releases me to continue to love others in humanity!

Hi everyone,

for whatever reason, a question popped into my head.
I know we each face a judgment day according to individual beliefs. My question is, how do you suppose people are judged who assume a responsibility for large groups?
examples: the pope and church leaders who exonerate people of sins when people go to confession?
or like when the late Pope John Paul apologized on behalf of the church for turning a blind eye to the suffering of the holocaust.

or presidents/diplomatic leaders who by the nature of their work assume rights for the wellbeing of a group as a whole?
are these people held accountable for their choices as an individual and for what they represent as a social collective?

The Bible says ppl like the POPE will be judged most harshly for misleading Gods Children " Whosover makes one of my children stumble it will be better for you to tie a Anchor/Rock around your neck and throw yourself off a cliff than face my judgement "

" Beware of people who come to you in sheeps clothing but inside are ravenous wolves "

All are judged sinners , accept christ's Scarifice and you DO NOT come under judgement , by accepting that christ took YOUR place on the cross you avoid judgement NO MATTER what you,ve done IF you trully repent , those that dont accept Christ will be judged according to their deeds , good and bad ...

judgement day or not, it doesn't matter... anyone can live anyway they want, and have any/all sins resolved before death just by asking... and people wonder why i don't believe... it cannot get anymore made up that that sillyness...

No its not that simple moe , God knows the heart , the bible says he see's the secret things and knows your thoughts ...

Someone may indeed do a deathbed repentence as my grandfather did , You have to understand what christs sacrifice means to be able to accept it , just saying you believe and say you want forgivness isnt going to cut it , they will face judgement ...

The bible says many in that day will say LORD . LORD did i not ask you for this , that , forgivness and he will reply ' get away from me i never knew you ' my aunty's christianity go's as far as having rosemary beads hanging off a statue of many 'catholic' and thats it .

The bible does not mention rosemary beads and warns against idols'statues as with EVERYTHIN in catholisicm , she will have to answer for it , i have asked her , where in the bible does it mention rosemary beads ? No answer , God will ask her the same thing . Also again God knows your heart . The bible says GOD wants ALL to attain to repnetance and NOBODY to be lost .

You have to understand what happened on the cross what is required of a christian to be forgiven of sin

Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.

Matthew 7:21

i don't even know what that is

it means CONFORM to the biblical standards or burn in hellllllll... i think, anyway... at least that's what i got out of it...

HELL is a catholic teaching , Everlasting torment in the Bible literally means Eternal Death .

Hades is translated Grave ...

The bible says Hades and death will be thrown into a 'symbolic' lake of fire ' extinction'

Eternal Life or Eternal non-existence ? No punishment you just wont exist , the bible says when you die ' your thoughts do perish "
sure you would have thoughts in hellfire ?

You are in the grave until judgement day , when you will hear his voice and come out to be judged , judged for LIFE or what the bible calls 'the second death '

'For it is destined for all men to die ONCE and then be judged "

Jesus paved the way , by dying ONCE and then rose from the grave .

According to this quote, Jesus emphasizes that there's a difference between those who'd be wanting to do his will from those who'd be doing his metaphorical-father's will.

So, are You the type of Christian who's preoccupied with venerating Jesus...? Or the God who sent him?

You can't say both, because You'd be guilty of worshiping more than one Deity.

If You say they're the same Entity, as the Trinity Doctrine teaches... Then, what's the emphatic difference of having had said anything at all, between Jesus and this Father who's the same Entity?

every moment in life is judgement day to the wise, who beseech their own brain for any and all self inaccuracy, that could cause painful missteps in life for others.

no, they conveniently rolled all three gods into one...less confusion, so the bible won't contradict itself...

James 3:1 when he says, “Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness

as it pertains to those who have a covenant to teach Gods word,, I believe they are judged harshly

as to politicians and other leaders,, as their job doesn't directly require teaching Gods word,, I believe they are spiritually under the same judgment as other christians

You're right. I ponder more about this judgment of the preachers/teachers. Who will escape this?

How would You escape the judgment of the bogus comments You've made from the Quran. You've taken so many verses out-of-context it's practically criminally contemptible.
