Good afternoon, I am an old retired guy with nothing but time on my hands . I have received the Queens Golden Jubilee Medal for volunteering hundreds of hours in my home town but here I have no place to go. I am not really a church goer so that limits the opportunity but surely I can find someone that needs a delivery boy or something. I am also looking for a job , doing dishes or pumping gas etc. Nothing too serious but just to fill in time . Hope you guys Know something . Thanks a bunch and Merry X-mas

What about applying for jobs via a temporary agency? Look in local papers? Restaurants? Schools? Post? Unarmed security work?

This might work better on Craigslist?.....

I am not sure about opportunities where you live. Where I live, there is a community health center that has a thrift shop where I used to volunteer. The prices were low enough that low income families could get some gently used clothing for a minimal amount of money. There were all sorts of things that needed to be done here. We would create the price tags from hand. We would take all of the donations in and make sure they were working (ex. toasters, microwaves, etc). We had to clean them and then put them on the shelves. It sure kept me busy!

Also, you could also try a library.
