I was always afraid of getting involved with someone I felt wasn't going to make me happy or wasn't going to be the right one for me, and I also felt like if there's no sparks, then know fire for me ,plus trusting people ain't the easiest thing for me to do ,and with matters of the heart it's even worst,so I'm always on high alert ,but somehow I was always waiting for that special one to come into my life and light up all my circuits lol, which DO happens in the real world, but goofball put it best,we gata live our lives or we could be missing out on alot, the only thing we really need to do is,learn from our experiences which would help us to make much better choices!!think

The wait,hm,waiting on Mr /Miss right, how long is this waiting line? Well, from all the postings and topics we've read so far alone,I'd say it's extremely long, wouldn't you think? We're not going to settle for less than we deserve,so we've decided that we're going to "stick it out"until one day god happens to drop him/her in our laps so to speak! Everything takes time and patience is a virtue,I think we're all aware of this, but I've came to to the conclusion that, waiting is just half the process, and to add to that, while I've seen alot of people just sitting and waiting,I've seen people build up relationship to the point where they can say ,"hey, this person is my Mr /miss right",when in fact that person never came into their life as that Mr /miss right that they are today, all those Mr/miss right characteristics we're not identified at first, maybe just a little, one or two maybe,so, does or can one actually identify"Mr /miss right when he/she comes knocking?????drinker

The waiting can be well worth it.

If I don't find a man who want a relationship soon I will forget
why and who I am looking for. lol I am not getting any younger and it seem the younger men ask me out but they are in poor health than the older guys.

not sure about the "waiting" philosophy...

such seems more as one sitting at home hungry, and waiting for food to be brought to one's door.

or as one that once was a faithful follower of saint peter, that became stranded on a rooftop with rising waters all about, that prayed to saint peter to rescue his faithful followerer...

so while the waters were still low, an emergency truck came by, and hollered to the one on the roof to jump aboard...

but the one on the roof replied he was awaiting for his lord saint peter...

so as the waters rose higher, a raft happened by, hollering to the one on the roof to jump abroad...

again he replied, awaiting saint peter...

the waters steadily rose to nearly top the roof, and a helicopter flew over, lowering down it's rope, hollering to jump on...

again the faithful one declined and hollered saint peter would not let him down, and he would await his faithful lord saint peter for rescue...

and so the poor blind soul drowned, and ascended up to the pearly gates, where he seen saint peter at the entrance gates, and filled with anger and indignation, inquired as to why saint peter has forsaken him, him self being a faithful follower..

and of course, saint peter tried to explain that he had sent a truck, a raft and a helicopter...

and immediately this once blind one became immediately wise as to how things work on earth.

Brilliant narrative. God helps those who help themselves. To the vigilant mind God's signals should be clear enough.
