Is it me or what? What does it take to respond to a email?? I clocked it in as little as 45 seconds.I have noticed one of the biggest problems on here and other sites, the lack of common courtesy to respond to a email. And we as collective parents wonder about the "lack" of courtesy in our children,go figure

I get that a lot as well, and vice versa. If the email seems a bit way into left field, I don't even bother. Depending on what is included in the email, is when I reply or not, but in due time, of course.

It's not you. I used to try to e-mail some of the locals here -- complete waste of time. Although I have gotten much better results from people 897,000 miles away....there are actually a lot of very friendly and courteous people here, who WILL reply to e-mails. Just not anywhere near where I am.

Well, I can tell you that the only time that I didn't reply to an email is when.....

1- the person did not meet my age limits.....<30 or >50
or
2- the person made a comment about a body part (theirs or mine)
or
3- the person sent a rude email.

I don't think it's just you. I respond to emails even if I'm not interested in the person. But I don't get the same common courtesy in return. Women say it's because they get so many emails that they couldn't possibly return them all. Hmmmmm, I guess it's nice to be so popular. They are usually the ones that become bitter and say that they can't find any nice guys. There are plenty of nice guys, but a lot of bad choices. Go figure.

I have this same problem as well.

I am not being rude here but a simple hello as I might say nice photo, I get no respond, I understand if that other person is busy or sleeping etc, but after two days or more it makes me wonder what went wrong.

Heck I even join paid sites and get zero responds after it may take me a while to become a paid memeber but I respond back to every body who has emailed me in the pass, yet noting happens then either.

People seem right out rude now a day's, it's really hard to find any nice people around.

Also I then wonder if something is wrong with me or if there is something I said in my profile for every body to not respond to me etc.

John -- My profile is really long and there's something in there to offend everybody, but it does generate a lot of positive feedback. Who knew?

I think a lot of people get that as I have seen this before,you only have 4 posts so they may be a little shy,try to get involved in the forums so we can get to know you.Theres a lot of great people here just give it a little time
