Lawsuit: Ferguson officer raped pregnant woman
FERGUSON, Mo. — This small Midwest city has a new problem -- a lawsuit that claims a corrections officer raped a pregnant woman and that police in the city have engaged in a "pattern of violence against the citizenry." The woman sued Officer Jaris Hayden and the city of Ferguson and alleges the assault happened at the city jail while she was about three months pregnant. Court papers identify the alleged victim by her initials, J.W., because she says she is a rape victim. In addition to the lawsuit, Hayden, 29, of Ferguson, faces four criminal charges, including two counts of having sexual contact with a prisoner, one count of permitting escape from custody and one count of acceding to corruption by a public servant, according to St. Louis County court records. Police arrested him on Nov. 12. Hayden will plead not guilty to the charges at his arraignment on December 3, said Scott Rosenblum, who is defending Hayden from the criminal charges. ] Jaris Hayden, a former corrections officer in Ferguson, Missouri, is accused of raping a pregnant inmate and allowing her to escape in exchange for sex acts. http://www.wfaa.com/story/news/nation/2014/11/17/lawsuit-ferguson-officer-raped-pregnant-woman/19198791/ |

I know, huh? Cops using their position to take advantage of women sexually IS getting out of hand, huh? Nice to read you men are getting as incensed over it all as we women have been, for decades.
Oklahoma City cop charged with sexually assaulting eight women is released on bond Daniel Holtzclaw's release Friday comes two days after his bond was reduced from $5 million to $500,000 and a prosecutor labeled him a danger to the community. The 27-year-old is accused of using his badge to fondle women or force them to perform sex acts while he was on patrol over a four-month period. Oklahoma City Police Officer Daniel Holtzclaw, seen Wednesday, is facing 16 felony counts that include first-degree rape, sexual battery, indecent exposure, stalking, forcible oral sodomy and burglary. An Oklahoma City police officer accused of using his badge to sexually assault at least eight women in a four-month period is free on $500,000 bond. Daniel Holtzclaw's release Friday comes two days after the 27-year-old's bond was reduced from $5 million and a prosecutor labeled him a danger to the community. "I just hope he follows the conditions the judge set forth," said Prosecutor Gayland Gieger, who argued against the bond reduction. Under those conditions, he will remain under house arrest until trial and must turn in his police gear, guns and badge. The only times he'll be allowed to leave his parents' home in Enid is to go to court and his attorney's office. His alleged victims, who are all black women and between 34 and 58 years old, told police that he fondled them or forced them to perform sex acts while he was on patrol. If they didn't comply with his wishes, they would be arrested or physically harmed, they said. The two-year police veteran and former college football player was arrested following an investigation on Aug. 21. He was later charged with 16 felony counts that include first-degree rape, sexual battery, indecent exposure, stalking, forcible oral sodomy and burglary. He could face up to life in prison if convicted on the first-degree rape charge alone. He has pleaded not guilty and his attorney, Scott Adams, said Holtzclaw denies the allegations. "Family and friends rallied and posted his bond this (Friday) morning," said Adams, after Holtzclaw was released and fitted with a GPS monitoring device on his ankle. Police Capt. Dexter Nelson said Holtzclaw, whose father is an Enid police lieutenant, remained on paid leave as of Friday. "He's getting ready to go back to Enid," where he is to stay with his parents, Adams said. Oklahoma City Police Chief Bill Citty said when announcing Holtzclaw's arrest that he had been placed on leave when the allegations emerged in June. On a Facebook page called "Justice for Daniel Holtzclaw" and established by his sister, his supporters praised Friday's decision. Holtzclaw, seen right in 2007, played linebacker for Eastern Michigan before becoming a police officer. He's currently under house arrest with an ankle monitor ahead of his upcoming trial. "We are extremely happy to have him out and now Daniel will have the opportunity to work closely with his Attorney Scott Adams on his legal defense," a statement posted read. "Daniel vigorously denies any sexual misconduct and is looking forward to his day in court. Please respect his family's privacy during these difficult times." Those against him meanwhile are championing the removal of a GoFundMe page that had been raising money for him. "That alone is a good thing! Let's just keep talking about the case so that he can remain in jail while the Justice system hopefully works this out properly," a page, "Bring Daniel Holtzclow to Justice" read. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/okla-charged-sexually-assaulting-women-free-bond-article-1.1930004 |

Actually, I will give Uncle Jesse a pass on this one. He is to busy visiting his son in prison and having affairs that he probably hasn't heard about this yet.

Imagine that, the masses getting just what they have asked for and then crying over the results!!!
Statism The brilliant idea that we give a small group of people the right to kidnap, imprison, harass, steal from and kill people, so that we can be protected from people who kidnap, harass, steal and kill people. A statist is an individual who erroneously believes that there is such a thing as "authority" vested in certain human beings magically giving them the "right to rule" over other people. This "authority" means that certain people who we call "government", have the "moral right" to issue commands to those whom they rule (those under their "jurisdiction"), and that their "subjects" (slaves) have a "moral obligation" to obey the arbitrary dictates set by their masters. Most simply put, a statist is someone who believes in the legitimacy of slavery. The Law of Freedom Freedom and morally are directly proportional. As morality increases, freedom increases; As morality declines, freedom declines. Another way of saying this law would be to say that the presence of truth and morality in the lives of the people of any given society is inversely proportional to the presence of tyranny and slavery in that society. True freedom can never exist in a society that embraces "Moral Relativism" (the idea that there is no inherent and objective difference between right and wrong, so humanity may arbitrarily "create" or "decide" right and wrong for themselves). Some surveys state that 66% of the people believe in Moral Relativism. Authority An illusion of a diseased psyche, based entirely in violence and built upon the erroneous and dogmatic belief that some people are masters who have the moral right to issue commands, and others are slaves who have a moral obligation to obey the masters. The belief in the legitimacy of "authority" is the belief in the legitimacy of slavery. Ultimately, "authority" is the idea that man can become God and through "jurisdiction" dictate the law. And still there are those that question as to why things are as they are! |

1. thank goodness no one lost their life
2. its harder to prove a rape occurred than it is to prove a life was taken 3. Im surprised the media hasn't told us all about the prisoner and some diminished character that will keep her from being able to possibly be a victim of anything. |

The manner of Michael Brown's death doesn't diminish the fact that he committed strong-arm robbery just before he died. |

The manner of Michael Brown's death doesn't diminish the fact that he committed strong-arm robbery just before he died. as a survivor of rape, I feel fortunate that I at least still left with my life,,, in no way is that diminishing the crime,, and shoving, fighting, stealing, nor any other juvenile thing that young people do justifies their being killed,,, |
|
|
|
to each their own opinion
a person shouldn't be an officer if they are quick to feel 'threatened' against someone unarmed who has run away from them, while they are holding a gun,,, |

ah, the only thing that matters is what one self changes, for how does winning some argument or debate change anything...
if the reality stays the same, self is a none player, and only a single minded, single purpose kinda human... these will become extinct. the vortex is natural, the time in history creates it self... no one squeezes through the center of the hourglass to the "other side", unless they care about the good of ALL, and are willing to do something about it. say it and prove it shall become two different things, in REALITY. if self did not alter the reality, self is a ONLY a fuccking eater. 99.9% of the time, it's simply about sounding cool, sounding smart, impressing somebody, or wanting to be liked by the opposite or same sex... those people don't actually give two shitz about what happens in this life and on this planet except for who they can find to "adore them"... those are the 99&... ok, maybe 98%... which actually keep and oppose all change from occurring, since they stand against the 1% or 2& that are actually willing to do anything to change things for the better... why... because winning a debate provides all the good these people are willing to fight for, for some false reality feeling that somehow self be important, individually unique, incredibly insightful, since if it's argument wins, so did one self win! and how did such win a better reality? how did it actually create a better reality? but these people are not looking at reality! only their feelings, the feelings of 1. and to win for those... somehow become the goal. bullshitz. in most cases, it created a worst reality. it ain't about wining for 1, and it never has been, nor was ever supposed to be. but, such will be good enough for 99& of the sheep, who call all others the sheep.. blah blah blah... same old shitz. if one doesn't change the world for better, it really doesn't deserve to exist on this plant. period. welcome to a new world order. |

communication serves to share,, it doesn't require agreement, disagreement, because whichever way it ends,, something is shared
and as long as there is sharing,, there is the seed of new thought, new consideration, new action even if not between those agreeing/disagreeing,, somewhere amongst those who are watching/listening,, and having the seed planted,,, |
|
|
|
true indeed Ms Harmony...
you will definitely be a changer on the right side of history when the time comes to act versus share... but indeed, all things have their time and place as the seasons in the world. but surely as the sun rises and the moon sets, words that spur to doing more good, be more profitable for creating good into existence than words that spur to apathy and accepting the current reality as "supposed to be", and it be somebody else job to fix those things. |

doing more good exists because more good needs to be done
this is the reality that is exposed within the truth of the ups and downs of life, or the good and bad, or the blessings and misfortunes,,, which serve as undeniable and constant,,,in changing forms and detail, but never one existing without the other,,, |

doing more good exists because more good needs to be done this is the reality that is exposed within the truth of the ups and downs of life, which serve as undeniable and constant,,,in changing forms and detail, but never one existing without the other,,, you only say that since that be all your self has known since born... some know more can and shall exist. but if one say good and bad must exist, the up's and down's are for good, than this be for certain, good and bad for these, shall surely NEVER PASS AWAY, for these simply do nothing about them... and these were then quite ok with good and bad happening to others. just because modern man has writ many days of history of good and bad, does not mean that in the billions of years of the earth that good and bad always existed... but lovers of bad so worked hard to keep lovers of good believing so, even since birth on earth, and so prevented any cosmic changes from being RELEASED TO EARTH for the good of all. and since i know you adore the bible, all would bring up as well, your own scripts did say bad would pass away as well. for man as humans only live in a "fallen" state for 1 cycle of 6 days, then on the seventh, or seventh thousand year of that current time cycle, all good was released. peace on earth. no more violence. no more war. no more pain for the desperate souls in anguish. but, you believe as you wish, but as we believe, make no mistake, occur to our self. just sayin. |
