Here she stands, alone
Wind whipping though her hair While she waits for the unknown With head bowed Hands clasped Praying for salvation Begging for release Chains that bind her Are unseen The past is her damnation The tolling of the bell Questions unanswered The future her hell She waits for the unknown Time ticks by And still she waits Head bowed Hands clasped For the sign to release her from the hate And still she waits................. |
