I understand that this is the wrong forum, but Umm HELP! I figured that I would get a response faster. I am using Windows Vista and umm I accidentally deleted my recycling bin. Instead of clicking empty I clicked delete and well my recycling bin is now gone. I did a search for it and it is not there. Somebody please HELP!

put in the install disk, or go to add remove programs and reinstall windows components...just search for it on the list of check off boxes. That should work.

you cant just do a restore back to yesterday??

OK, I do not have the disc as I have not made them yet.

And there is nothing like that in the Program Features part of my Windows.

The 'Delete' option when right-clicking the Recycle Bin is new, giving you the option of removing the shortcut from your desktop easily. To restore it you can go Start->Control Panel->Appearance and Personalization->Personalization and then click "change desktop icons" from the left-hand column. From there just check Recycle Bin and click OK.

Don't worry, all you have done is reduced deleting items by one step. The only negative that comes with the deletion is that you can't recover anything that you have deleted. Since you were trying to empty your recycle bin, that's not really a negative in this case. Just follow the directions I gave in my previous post and you will be just fine.
