Could the thread have been deleted if it turned into a cosmetic/superficial hate speech contest through its course?
Sometimes arguing posts can ruin a sincere thread. Things like body image and superficial things in dating context can spark controversy and brutal arguments on forums, with a lot of ad hominem. When a thread goes like that sometimes it's best for moderators to just delete the whole thing. |
