I think guys hate shopping in malls and department stores ( I know I do). I just don't like anything about it, mainly because a lot of the stuff a man sees in those places doesn't interest him. So he gets bored and wants out.

Now if you put me in Home Depot, I'm like a kid in a candy store.. all of a sudden I see things that I now realize I need.

in a man's mind, being the guy in the block who has a diamond tip circular blade at the ready just in case a car has to be sawed in 1/2 .. is important ;)

The reason why a man doesn't want to accompany a woman on a shopping trip is simple.

Eventually, the woman will start trying on outfits, during which time the woman will ask the man, "Does this outfit make me look fat?"

An honest answer to her question is "No. Your fat makes you look fat."

If the man gives an honest answer, then he will be in trouble with the woman.
If he doesn't give an honest answer, then he will be lying to the woman.

A man doesn't want to be in trouble, and he doesn't want to be a liar. So, he avoids shopping with a woman.

Depends on what I'm shopping for. If it's groceries I'm in and out when I've found everything I need. If I'm out with friends and we're scouring shops looking for rare movies on VHS it's fun time spent with friends. Love going to used book stores or places like Powell Books could spend hours looking for hard to find paperbacks.

I enjoy going out an shopping with my girlfriend, heck I enjoy being around my girlfriend, period. She never asks if this or that makes her look fat (or whatever cliche), she'll ask if I like the look of something, but it's her clothes and it's her choice, and she buys what she likes.

guys dont like shopping? wrong on that. we love to go car shopping. and if we dont go to wal-mart with u woman you will not bring us home the right kinda beer GEEEEES.....
