OP, maybe, because sometimes *The Nice Guy* doesn't make his intentions and feelings towards the girl known and instead chooses to wallow in his own misery over the fact that she went for *The Bad Boy*, who DID let his intentions and feelings towards her BE known?


Often, *The Nice Guy* isn't A Nice Guy, at all; he's simply selfish and self-centered and wants the world to come already installed with rubber bumpers to protect his little feelings.

Often, *The Bad Boy* isn't A Bad Boy at all; he's simply someone who had the guts to put himself out there and take a chance on someone he found worthy OF the opportunity to see what might develop.

Maybe because I always believe a man when he says, "I'm not interested in being in a serious relationship/getting married" and proceed accordingly from there.

It has been mentioned to me that maybe I should start a thread about how most girls, not all, but most girls go for the "bad boys".

"Start a thread about it, even...make the topic something about how women never go for The Good Guys but always fall for The Bad Boys. If you set it to a catchy tune, we'll all sing along"

So why does this seam to be the case?

I've been doing some reading both online and offline, and unfortunately I find myself falling into the nice guy category; feelings of bitterness, resentment, inadequacy, withdrawn, reserved.

So I have taken upon myself (because nobody else will for me) to become more assertive, and forward. I was also thinking of starting a "blog" about my experience.

Try starting by learning some hood talk, for instance
