Is it true that love is blind? if yes why?

Myopic maybe... because u fall with ur heart, sometimes with ur eyes, but that doesn't last. If u do it with ur mind only also doesn't last. Then again, even with ur heart it may not last. Both people have to fell the same and be on the same page... that is difficult!

Like I said before, relationships are always lots of work: whether online or not: myopic or blind!

thanks for the ideas... maybe because i didnt experience yet this kind if love that is blind thats why i dont know what is the feeling... and youre right that having relationship is having a lots of work and sacrifices.. :)

Lol I think love is blind because,the heart doesn't have eyes ,and the eyes doesn't have a heart maybe, ,lol I just thought of that,but,that what I think!

Once upon a time a man and a woman fell in love and adored each other and thought they were perfect for each other.After about six months of incredible sex she woke up one morning to one of his incredible smelly morning farts and thought eeuw thats disgusting.Then on his way home from work that day he thought OMG I am so hungry and I really cant eat that awful food she makes anymore. Then they both thought how on earth could I have thought I was in love with this person. All their friends wondered what on earth they saw in each other.That night when they saw each other they fell into each others arms again and lived happily ever after. If you love someone regardless of their faults then love is blind. If you love someone that makes you unhappy and hurts you then its obsession not love.

Love can't be blind if you aren't blind because too much of your experience and ability to understand, feel, and communicate "love" is based on your sighted understanding of existence.

If you aren't blind then who you are is partly based on what you've seen, and what you see. And who you are defines who you love, who you can love, and how you express your love.

So no, I do not believe "true" love is blind as I believe love is based on the person that loves, not the other way around meaning love isn't a universal constant that is simply interpreted by people.
