Well today is going pretty great except for the part where I got fired I don't know how I feel about it in a way I feel terrified but in a way I feel free...yup being late one too many times will get cha fired but I am very proud of how I handled myself. now comes the hard part......the job search about as fun as getting dental work done. Damnit i need someone to comfort me!!!! and tell my ass to get off the computer and look for a job u lazy ass but all I wanna do is go hang out dwntown....

if it makes ya feel better, go downtown, hang out for awhile, take a break....but eventually life will come back and smack you in the face espeically if ya got bills to pay.

Well, that's kinda crappy that you got fired but before you begin your search again, you must make a committment to yourself to GET TO WORK ON TIME. Having said that, the job market is very competitive so juice up your resume and get your arse to searching. Good Luck!!!

yeah I know u guys. it just sucks that a place will make me come in do two hours of hard labor.(which I mite add I was on time for) and then bring me in the office and tell me I have a late-ness prob. which is bs anyway!!! but I know it just sounds like sour grapes but dude, I want my gas money back fire me over the phone save me a trip they know I'm gonna need every penny places just like to be assholes about stuff like that.after workinghard for them for two yrs.

I don't know about Kellygirl, but Manpower (Now called Mancan) is a temporary employment agency. When companies need help here and there for a short time, they use an Agency like Mancan. It's worth looking into, I've used it before.

Do a job search in your area from the thing your staring into right now. Here its the VEC. I dont know what it would be in your area. Search Employment opportunities,then your state.
Newspapper wanted ads are online also. The phone book lists all employers in the back. Call up the interesting looking ones and ask if they are accepting applications at this time.
The computer itself is a job if you can find a job that leaves you work from home. People pay bills for businesses from home all the time.
