It was a dark rainy night and I was alone and lost in my dreams when out of the darkness boomed a menacing voice I did not recognise. He's coming .. He's coming ... warned the voice and each time a door in the house slammed. It felt so real I woke with a startle.. my heart was pounding .... till i realised i had forgotten to logoff the porn Site and it was still playing ... sighing and lmao :-)

So now I know how you keep yourself occupied when
you're off work!!! laugh

I always either in a fight and I cant seem to move my arms...freefalling from some ungodly height...everyone in the dream is someone I know but at some point it takes a turn and everyone becomes very distorted, like tiny little bodies with giant heads...wtf!

I once dreamed that my name is John.

I woke up, and checked my drivers license. Holy crap! My name really is John.

are we speaking metaphorical dreams or real ones

my metaphorical dreams have recently started unfolding, with a banging career(as opposed to another dead end 'job') with which I can make many more of my dreams come true(metaphorically)

my real dreams are mostly too awesome for me to expect them to really happen, and Im manifesting my destiny right nowflowerforyou

I usually don't tream but when I do... you better wish for them to never come true cuz they are mostly apocalyptic.

I have seen nukes go off 2km's from my location, huge tidawaves coming in from sea... wind's going crazy all around me... And i don't wake up screaming, usually enjoy the view until whatever the sht is this time is reaching me. then I wake up and are a bit disappointed. Not because the world is still there but because they are usually quite short dreams.

I had one that I cannot explain because I already woke up and the sky was all bright and orange in color like in fire, which was impossible at 3am. From hindsight I think it was a dream inside a dream.

Another creepy one was probably sleep paralysis+still half asleep. Woke up scared as hell for no obvious reason, couldn't move, and one corner of the room seemed darker than the rest, then the darkness spread all over the room and devoured my vision and me. Fcking scary for someone who already thinks he's awake.

My thoughts on preomonition are: if you have to wait until you're asleep to start processing what's going on around you, you're behind the curve, not ahead of it.

eg. your friend regularly drink-drives but you put it out of your mind so it doesn't affect the friendship, then you have a dream of him dying in a car accident and a week later he dies. "I saw this in a dream!" you say.
Whereas if you took more notice of your senses whilst you're awake, you'd notice a drink-driver is likely to have an accident and might've said something since you're not putting it out of your mind, somewhat before they die in a car accident.
The accomplishment is less proud, but more result.

Ever wonder why psychics are never exactly the brightest sparks in all the other areas of their lives? And don't exactly accomplish anything as a psychic?

People all have the same gifts. Keeping ahead of them is more mundane, boring even, but far more skilled in terms of results.

Brings back memories, I had this creepy episode once.....and it was for real! And it wasn't even night....more like evening! My room-mate got her pastor to do some 'exorcism' or 'cleansing' rituals....and it worked! No more episodes!

Sleep paralysis is not smth that needs to be cured, it's a good thing - it doesnt let your brain signals go to your limbs and protects you from acting out on your dream, running kicking etc otherwise it'd be impossible to stay in bed. The thing is you're not supposed to be awake when your movements are shut down. Waking up at wrong time and being unable to move triggers sense of alert and vulnerability which often manifests itself as feeling of "the malicious presence" in the room. it may take almost a minute till the connection your limbs and brain restarts and all this time if you do not know what you're going through...you're freaked out.
