yea,but its nonetheless a gradual but steady descent to abyss and systematic obliteration of God from the consciousness of Americans;in addition to other ealier anti-God policies of the government of US

Good.

Then, the forefathers who actually were charged with establishing our system and wrote the documents for it

would be proud.

Godless society;Anarchy looming.First it was stopping prayers said in schools and public places. Then their entertainment industry made a push to censor "God",Jesus etc on screen;and now this...Hmm....If someone tells me the great conspiracy is a farce, and that the US isn't linked up with the illuminati or freemasons in anyway,or that the desire to rule the world is beyond political considerations, then, that person can as well make me believe that Obama isn't the president of USA
The devil is at it again. It happened in Turkey. They were 98% christians before they went the way Americans are going now.In fact,Paul of Tarsus was from there,Tarsus being in Turkey. The seven churches spoken of in the book of revelation were all in Turkey.Nature abhors vacuum.Romans 1:28.So islam took over, hence the swelling number of American youths fighting on the side of ISIS.America's inadvertent alternative to christianity which they are rejecting via their myriad of anti-God policies is islam. Its a time bomb.

the first amendment never written to separate Christian principles from government. today all we hear is the first amendment means separation of church and state.

first amendment
Congress shall make no law respecting and establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,

everyone knows founding fathers were Christians..

jefferson coined the phraze seperation of church and state in a letter to well I cant remember but it was telling gubment to stay out of the church...i think because he did not want one national religion/denomination. those guys were smart. they did not drink fluoride or the koolaid!!!

God Bless America not Jesus Bless America is used. even though God the Father the Son And the Holy Ghost can all pertain to God

letter never said Christ or Christians to stay out of gubment.
most all founding fathers including Jefferson were Christian along the the millions through out served in wars and gubment.

Americans Pray to God

THEY DON'T WANT TO PRAY TO THE WILD WEASEL or the "JOKER TUT"

You should have bothered yourself to click on the link I'd provided.

Some of the most scathing anti-Christian writings EVER penned were by the hands - and minds - of our most prominent *Christian* forefathers.

Period. The only way it's debatable is if one chooses to remain ignorant on the subject.

Jesus died before our *Christian* forefathers penned their scathing anti-Christian writings.

To the best of my knowledge, Jesus never even mentioned the United States...let alone whether it was a "Christian nation".

As a matter of fact, I don't believe Jesus ever mentioned Christianity, as it kinda required his death and resurrection TO be born,

yanno?

Spirit or you can be Lost,,,

I have been praying against storms since a child, I have prayed for

protection in physical and spiritual battles...And have seen the

Power of the Holy Spirit work for me and many others around me... you

are either a believer or you are not..

you all are not going to let me have Bible Study ... even though

this place is touted as a Christian site... but see only Lucy's//\\

Jesus is the hero of the New Testament, only; the New Testament is a part of The Bible.

Mingle2 is a Christian online dating site?!? IS THIS TRUE???

I've found no reference to THAT presented-as-fact statement. Two other sites say no such thing about it, either...and I couldn't find a single site that DOES say that it is:

http://dating.about.com/od/freedatingsites/fr/Mingle2-Dating-Site-Review.htm

http://www.top10christiandating.com/?kw=christian%20online%20dating%20sites&c=37737652147&t=search&p=&m=e&adpos=1t1&a=11&gclid=COiEp7Se9sACFRSEfgodzjAAXQ
(Ironically, they say they will list the "Top 10 Online Christian Dating Sites", but only make it through 8 of 'em.)

I would appreciate the citation to the source which states that Mingle2 is a "Christian" dating site. Once I see it for myself, I'll cancel my account immediately.

Quite the opposite.

It's a shame that others are so hard-hearted and have a problem with the people of God, all the while cloaked in Christianity,

as evidenced by your lack of compassion for - and quickness to (mis)judge those who don't feel just exactly the way you do.

But thank you for your non-attacking thoughts on the subject; it's mighty Christian-*like* of you.

now you went and ate those Crayons again!
You'd be pretty hard up to show anyone the place in the Constitution where it says what you claim!
Actually,if Government lets the Churches, any Churches into the Government to make their own favorable Laws,it would be unconstitutional!
If the US were Religion-based,it would be a Theocracy,NOT a Republic!

Not anywhere in the Constitution does it say that the USofA is based on Religion!

More quotes re: The seperation of Church and State....

The Constitutional Convention and State Ratifying Conventions:

(Historian Franklin Steiner:) "[W]hen it was proposed to open the Constitutional Convention, over which he [George Washington] presided, with prayer, the motion was lost. Only three or four of the delegates favored it, and it is not recorded that Washington was one of them."

"The Convention, except for three or four persons, thought prayers unnecessary." Benjamin Franklin

(Church-State scholar Robert Boston:) "The Constitution fashioned in 1787 is a secular document. There is no mention of God, Jesus Christ, or a supreme being anywhere in the document. A minority faction of delegates pressed for some type of recognition of Christianity in the Constitution, but their views were rejected."

"[N]o religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States."
Article VI, Clause 3 of the Constitution

(The object of Article VI, Clause 3 was) "to cut off forever every pretense of any alliance between church and state in the national Government." U.S. Supreme Court Justice Joseph Story,
Commentaries on the Constitution of the United States

"They [the Founders] knew that to put God in the Constitution was to put man out. They knew that the recognition of a Deity would be seized upon by fanatics and zealots as a pretext for destroying the liberty of thought. . . . They intended that all should have the right to worship, or not to worship; that our laws should make no distinction on account of creed."
Robert Ingersoll

If it's a choice, so be it.

Many good men and women will still choose to include God in their lives.

Those who chose not to will eventually be asked about that choice.
