Lol i would say with at least reasonable distance though,with one of you have it in your near future or just IN your future to relocate,cause its quite possible you may waste a good portion of your life,(generally speaking)...happened to me until I was able to snap out of it,I wouldn't advise know one too,unless the conditions are reasonable,trust me,I enjoyed the challenge at first,but it wasn't making much of sense,if you were already in love and met ECT,then I wouldn't say give it up ,no!

No matter how far you are from each other you can still work it out. They work when both of the people involved want them to work. You can learn a lot about each other before you meet up which is a good, but meeting up can cost a lot in time and money depending where you both live. At the end of the day someone will need to relocate so you can both be together, so you must be prepared to relocate if your partner cannot do so, and what if you live in different countries. Long distance relationships are not an easy option and need to be well thought out before entering in to in my opinion, but they can and do work out for some. They can work if time, money, and the willingness of one party to relocate are part of the equation. Once you have the logistics of it settled then an LDR is as likely to succeed or fail as any other relationship... They are not for me. First, the time involved in planning simple things like meeting for the first time is a giant waste and extremely illogical, i.e., you can meet ten locals in the three months (or whatever) it takes to meet that one person. Second, I prefer to live in the real world and have tangible and actual physical contact, OFTEN./
