hey all im havin a prob w bf he is gr8 i love him but we work opposite shifts now this just happened about 3 weeks ago nd he lived 50 miles away b4 and came to see me 2-3 times a week now he moved 21 miles a way and is on day shift im on nights we have a good time when together but he tends to text me instead of calll and sometimes he doesnt even do that i need more from him a call everyday would b nice just to let me know hes alive , am i selfish or justified there is more to it but this is the jist of it thank you have a gr8 day

this is a classic problem. you can't easily solve it.
i don't think you can easily ask someone to have more
of their time than they give naturally. i'd just try
to call once in a while if you haven't heard from him
and not really ask for more contact and see if it develops
naturally. if he texts, then text back "voice?"

I got to say that working opposite shifts and living in the same house is difficult! So w/ the distance between you...it's even harder while you sleep he works and while he sleeps you work. It is up to you whether you want to forge through or not...

Next time he tex's you- tell him you would like him to call
you more often...
And you can get on that phone and call him too you know.

Well first of all the only one that can answer your question is your b/f that is if that is how he really sees the relationship. With out communcation we have nothing in a relationship. So my advise is to call him up when he is off work and your off and talk and get things clear on the relationship in the first place.


Someone else can not answer your question honestly without knowing both sides of the story of what is going on for maybe he does not see the relationship in the same way you do.

I think your bf just likes to text.....it fascinates him playing with his phone.....men like their toys!!!!
