Hahahahaha, yes, he has a very nice arse, lol. I'm sure there'll be gazillions of pictures of his arse to be found online, haha.
He was rather hairless in the nether regions, as far as you could tell. Not very 18th centuries, lol.

I think he got it over with real quick the first time. Okay, virgin, sort of understandable, but still... I thought it was a tad more exciting in the book. The scene felt a bit matter of fact like to me. Falling over on the bed, resulting in immediate penetration, a few erm ... humps and that was it.
But still, all in all the entire episode's very tastefully done.

Oh, and he did look unbelievable hunky during the wedding with his hair out of his face! Stunning, love the jawline.
And verra nice legs! I love it when a bloke has such muscular legs (thighs, yummie!!)

Yep verra nice legs/thighs, aye...

Loved the dress also..Not the creamy white dress as stated in the book, but beautiful all the same, and he did look stunning..

Last episode will be on Sat/Sun, then no more until 2015..

Yeah, gonna miss it. And quite quick to have a season stop, it's only end of September, only 8 episodes :/
Curious where they're going to end. They said in that interview it was going to be a major cliffhanger. But what? Bit soon for the trials I think, 1 ep after the wedding?

It's going to be interesting anyway..Maybe she ends up back with BJ Randall in the last epi this week, which leads to the spanking thing, then back to Leoch..I guess it depends on what else they have written into the series...

Oh yeah, forgotten about that bit, who knows!

Must say I think Tobias Menzies really does an excellent job. Must be a bit sore, Sam & Cat getting all this attention, while he is a truly gifted actor. And let's face it, without him they wouldn't have this well-played character to bounce off of.
That's the irony of BJ Randall, you constantly wish him to die, disappear into thin air, whatever, as long as he's gone, for good. But without his dark character, it would be almost impossible to get the depth in Jamie & Claire's feelings for each other.
Funny thing is, I cannot for the love of god envision which role he plays in Game of Thrones? I'll have to look that up. That's what I dislike about GoT, too many characters and story-lines.

Well for the first time I was disappointed watching Episode 8..Some bits from the book left out that I thought would be integral towards the series, but never mind we all have 6 months to procrastinate, moan and wait till the next 8 episodes...Too long a break if you ask me...

I only just watched it, always have to wait till it's available on download.
Yes, I think the wait is way too long as well, way too long.
And the first half of the episode I found rather disappointing as well. I think they switch back and forth too often, you can't really get sucked into the story because suddenly it's back to Frank again.
The second half was better, although they seem to be rushing through things. Maybe they should simply have gone for a few more episodes and thus take the time to let the characters and feelings etc. grow a bit more, have things run deeper. It all seems a bit odd now, last week the first night together and things still new and awkward, now they're kissing and making out as if they've done so for months.

And you were right, with where they'd end this first half of the season.
I'm getting more and more impressed by Tobias Menzies, dang, does he do a good job with Capt. Randall or wot!?

I get to watch it 10 - 15 minutes after it has aired thanks to the wonderful people who like to download andput it up on the free to watch sites, otherwise I would never have got to see it at all..Awesome..

I agree with Tobias and his great portrayal of Frank and BJR..I kinda wish they hadn't kept too-ing and fro-ing all the time to Frank, it did make everything else seem so rushed...

I felt the whole redcoat and near rape scene was all wrong, and the best parts of that were left out...

Oh well, at least with the books, the tv series hasn't taken away the imaginations etc when I read..

Yes, but in a way I wished I hadn't read the book yet, because then I'd probably have enjoyed it for what it is. Now it's beginning to feel like two versions of the same thing.
I did like what they did at Craigh Na Dun, Claire hearing Frank cry out like that.

I saw a comment that Ron Moore made about that whole Frank hearing Claire and vice versa through the stones, and he basically said, did she hear him and did he hear her or was it just the wind..?..He left it as a mystical thought thing...

I still look forward to next April and seeing the rest of the story unfold though..

Yes, me too! Have you read anything about the reason for this break being so ridiculously long? I know they're shooting still, so why?

Oh well, in the meantime I'll continue reading the books I spose.

I read somewhere they had finished shooting and re shooting, and in the 6 months off it was holidaying as well as Media work etc...I gather STARZ will lose out for a while as many are cancelling their subscriptions and not renewing until it starts again in April..

I hope they get to do a Season 3, which would bring in the 3rd book Voyager, which is fantastic...

Yes, I'm half way through that book. Haven't read for a while now, as in the end I didn't do anything else anymore, totally sucked into the books. And at the mo I'm busy painting, but I'm sure I will pick up on the book(s) again.
It just seems that whenever they leave Scotland, I kind of lose interest. Back to France again ... I was so happy they left France, lol.

Well I certainly missed not having an Episode to watch yesterday, but I guess that will make next April great, but still, so long a wait...

Yes, I was thinking about it as well, miss it too. Indeed gonna be a long wait!

BTW I finished my 2nd cowl shawl, the one that's more Outlander style. And it's unbelievable warm! No wonder they head these things in Scotland.

Oh well will just have to re watch them all again..There are some amazing Fan Videos on Youtube as well, that are cool to watch..So many fans of the show out there in the world..

I have lent my books to a friends mother who is in her 80's and being from Scotland, she can't put them down, and is loving them..She is flying through the books and loving everything about them..For her also is the Gaelic in the books, which she understands because her grand parents spoke it when she was a child, so it is nice that this whole Outlander suits all ages..

The cowls are awesome, as are the shawls..I am determined to make a couple for next Winter...

Hihi, that's real cool! And yes, I think indeed these books suit all ages, esp because of the setting.

I think you can make most of the shawls and cowls in 1 or 2 evenings, because of the size needles you use. I bought size 10 knitting needles, but those turned out to be too small still! So instead of putting the yarn over the needle to do another stitch, I wound it round the needle, so basically twice. That way you get larger stitches, and that gave the effect I was after (like the cowls Claire is wearing).
