Communication is the key to any relationship, that and trust.
It's starts early on and is the basis for everything. Starting out as little comments on forums or blogs. Moves to private E-mails. Here we find out early on if the other person has what it takes. Whether it's potential serious relationship, or just a poissible friend. Do they read your e-mail and not answer, or not answer for days? Most of us have experienced this. Very upsetting once you've built some type of repore with another. Do we get upset? Hell yes we do. How do we react? Do we send more E-mails? I say no, I've been there, I've done it, It just adds to your frustration. If the person can't communicate at this early stage, they really aren't worth your time. The lack of consideration by not communicating properly will only lead to further lack of consideration. Anyone else feel the same? |

Communication is the key and so important to building a "real" relationship. So many of us have relationships that we think are real, but when tested by circumstance..fail to meet our expectations, because there was no substance to them. The more transparent and Honest that you can be with someone the closer you will become..wether it be as a friend or in a relationship.
But of course that makes us very vulnerable..and open for rejection...But, it is a sacrifice that is neccesary if you want to acheive true intimacy! The deception is that the games we play avoiding "getting hurt"..actually hurt us more..because how can you develop and evolve as a person if youre unable to allow yourself expression? |

Very nice Lisa. The deception that comes with online dating is usually figured out in that first meeting. If the Red Flags are flying before this meeting. I wouldn't waste my time, more will follow, they always do.
