The unwritten poem of the Wandering Man

"Too often I have heard men boast of the miles covered
in a day, rarely of what they had seen.
The trail is the thing, not the end of the trail."

"Travel too fast, and you miss all you are traveling for.
All men look, but so few can see. It's all there, hidden in
plain sight, just waiting for any passerby to take note of."

"Few of us ever live in the present. We are forever anticipating
what is to come or remembering what has gone."
"Today is all we have, tomorrow is a mirage that may
never become reality."

"We are, finally, all wanderers in search of knowledge.
Most of us hold the dream of becoming something better
than we are, something larger, richer, in some way more
important to the world and ourselves."

"The roads to knowledge are many and winding and sadly,
to some, time only brings age not wisdom. Too often, the
way taken, is the wrong way, with too much emphasis on
what we want to have, rather than what we wish to become."

That is a classic of the mans wisdom, nearly each line a notable
quotation.
