Intimacy...means to me he respects my need for privacy at the times I need it most, he knows when to reach out and touch me in some small way when I am angry, he understands or at the very least respects my spiritual needs and beliefs, he knows that when I say "nothing" it really means nothing is wrong, he knows when I say "When I am ready I'll talk" I mean that and he respects it and doesn't hound me to talk right then and there..intimacy means he knows all my little quirks, foibles, freak outs, and loves me in spite of them.
