So it seems like lately i keep seeing men and women willing to share a person they are involved with( this isnt just about bf / gf but it includes dating , etc)

Its kind of disturbing to find out that people are cool at being an option rather than a priority....how can someone engage in such an act....are they insecure, desperate , or they can't seem to find a decent person to
be in their lives....

Would you be an option? Or would you move on?

I think they just can't be faithful. I often wonder if being unfaithful, means there's a part of their brain that isn't working properly. Just saying though. I don't think I'd ever take part in a threesome. It would have me full of regret.

If they are willing to share, there is not "relationship" there. If one is willing to cheat or let the spouse cheat so to speak, then there is no emotional connection between the two. And thus there is no relationship, they are just sex partners.

They don't "have" to share. If they aren't into that kind of thing but their spouse is, then it would be time to go their separate ways. If they don't share with other's, then the spouse stepping out would be cheating.

This is true...but even people who are dating get caught up in this scenario ....i wonder why they stay when they know they are just a spare until someone better comes along and they get dumped...

relationship:

the way in which two or more people, groups, countries, etc., talk to, behave toward, and deal with each other.

the way in which two or more people or things are connected.

an emotional attachment between individuals.

while these definitions may be similar, they do not limit the meaning to one value. to suggest that someone else's interpretation is a false truth, is to suggest that only you can define what a relationship is. surly you are not this brave.

I think some people are just bored and see it as something to do to socialize. For myself I like to focus on just one person its much more rewarding that way.

If my friend ever asked me to "share" my significant other, I would beat the ever lasting **** out of him.
