I agree that is what women stereotypically want.
I agree a lot of men tell women that's what they want and then magically disappear when it turns out that it didn't happen that way.

I disagree that it's really love if it happens in that order.
At least romantically.
I do believe people delude themselves into thinking they are in love in a romantic relationship before they have sex.
I do believe that is based on a lot of romanticized misinformation out there that people don't know they've picked up.

I think in order for the bond of love to not be a choice, part of the natural process, that can't really be broken except by fulfilling other natural processes, sex will always come before love.

I think for social love, where it's a choice, based mostly on fear of change, social hierarchy, ostracizing, and self image, which can be broken at any time by choice, then you can have "love" and then sex.
