Do you know what happened this week back in 1850, 156 years ago? California became a state. The State had no electricity. The State had no money. Almost everyone spoke Spanish. There were gunfights in the streets. So basically, it was just like California is today, except the women had real breasts and the men didn't hold hands. Note: statehood date was admitted to the Union on September 9, 1850. I wonder if it is too late to have it annulled?
