I have more faith in "Anonymous". At least if someone messes with their right to the internet, they will retaliate and all those fast sources will just not work at all, millions and millions of dollars in damage to the corporate networks, just ask PayPal when they blocked funding to Julian Assange. Well, that's about the smartest thing I have heard you say yet. Kudos. Gee, wish I could say the same but I can't. And when you stop looking over your shoulder for the spooks (not that they aren't probably there but you'll never see them) the world will appear before you. There are things you can do something about and things you can't. The government isn't the real problem, after all they are but bureaucrats and politicians that have the mistaken impression that have some sort of authority. They but await for their masters to pull their strings so they may go forward and demonstrate their "authority". |

And in reading the text of the bill, it changes Title 18 very little and applies to those that trespass on the property of others. While many of the younger generation somehow believe they have a right to trespass on the rights of others, well they don't. Asserting one's rights and ignoring statutes is one matter. However, to trespass on the rights or another and trying to stand on moral ground just doesn't cut it. |

As for misinformation, you choose to believe the rhetoric, I read and compared the bill to the existing statute within 18 USC 1030. It is all about computer fraud and hackers. Before you endeavor to break the law, you must first understand the law. If you do not know how to protect yourself from the statutes, then you must accept the consequences of your actions. Also, if you care to look you can determine the action on any bill. This one is totally dead, hasn't even been read by the sub-committee. The 113th congress is almost done and this will never go anywhere, no benefit to congress. Also, the likelihood of it being reintroduced into the 114th Congress is nil. Aaron's Law Is Doomed Leaving US Hacking Law 'Broken' H.R.2454 - Aaron's Law Act of 2013 Wow, been in the subcommittee's in basket since July 15, 2013. But then I guess that some miracle is going to happen between now and January 3, 2015 with it ends, now let's not forget the holidays. Oh yes, let's not forget this little gem: The 113th Congress is historically good at not passing bills. Now from my standpoint that is a good congress. But let me run, there is another post that needs my attention. |

whatever one see released to the public as existing, as admitted as existing, quadruple that for what truly exist, then one know the true world it self live in, hence one can make more accurate decisions for it's own life, and not incur the unpleasant of bad surprises as the naive do.

So... maybe i am just a lament in this.. I know i am.. But what is your opinion about a Tor browser ? A royal pain in the butt but it is secure if you follow the protocol. If you break protocol then it loses all of it's security. Here is a good article on a series of arrests of underground sites. Sort of says it all. It's a good anonymous proxy browser that uses FireFox as it's base app. Tor is part of the Onion Network that uses distributed networking host servers from around the world. (Torrent BIT servers.) There's more out there than the traditional internet in the U.S. Tor users are now targeted by the NSA. It really pisses them off when IP's are spoofed. There for it is wise to also encrypt your pc. Do not use RSA 128 or 256 or MD5, those cyphers are....let's say NSA's MS and google's etc, bestest friends. lol https://www.torproject.org/download/download-easy.html.en https://www.torproject.org/docs/hidden-services.html.en Best when used with Linux or Umbuntu. Screw MS. Keep in mind pretty much all vendor hardware is proprietary and already has built in NSA hacked software that knows all about you as well. Hence your encryption might help and might not. |

Can't "Collect it All" if you have anonymous users. There are some vendors in other countries that might have non-proprietary hardware available. Those servers built from that hardware are truly anonymous. |
