I will kick your butt at monopoly any day of the week... I once played a game against my ex-husband and a few of his friends. These guys were stealing money from the bank left and right, and I STILL beat them... (not the sharpest tacks in the factory)...lol

Hmmmm I havent played board games in years......

We play Upwords, 3D scrabble here, as well as Go Fish...

I am the card shark queen at Go Fish...(well the kids let me think so)

We also play Trouble, and Chess.

And Twister! oh my....is even funnier as an adult!!!

Parchessi is another fun one. (I didn't spell it right)... it's a version of Sorry from India.

I have Upwords, too... but I like Scrabble because there's more strategy involved.

I grew up on King's Corner, War and Canasta, Gin Rummy and 500 Rummy.

I also loved Connect 4, Hungry Hungry Hippos and Operation.

But in all seriousness... I will throw anyone who brings a pop-o-matic game into my house out my window. Those things are like nails on a chalk board to my ears!

As for monopoly... you're on... I'm the shoe and prepare to meet your defeat! Ha ha ha!

For us we play to have fun, and chess is all the strategy games we need...

Upwords helped my eldest son a lot with his literacy skills, and have my other kids thinking laterally rather than competatively...

it works for us...monopoly is not our thing, we dont well with money...we always seem to give each other our 'winnings' when the other looks like they are going broke...

I stopped living in my dreams a long time ago... (which is why I'm divorced)...

I'm telling you, I'm the Monopoly Queen... it's a shame you live in Florida... you'll never experience the ruthless conquering of my army of hotels... lol.

hMMMMMMMMM my mini me is a party poker freak!!!! hahaha omg I dont even know how to play chess!!! He knows how to play checkers and chess and is a whiz at Crib.....I can play crib but mini me is a master....he even helps me count my cards!!!
