I guess its making its way across the country. They've hit me several times.
You get a call from a place, THAT SOUNDS, like an office, with many people talking in the background.
They identify themselves with very American sounding names, Thomas Smith, ect,(but have thick accents), and also state their badge number, and say they are from the IRS.
They know your first and last name, and try to get you to send them money, or give them your credit card number. If you refuse, they usualy get very hostile, and then if you call them scammers, they begin to curse at you!! They even went so far with me, to tell me that "All Americans are gonna die in 2 years".
THATS A TERRORIST THREAT!
I have reported them to several organizations..FBI, CIA, and the IRS.

The IRS DOES NOT CALL YOU...they contact you by mail!!

The thing that upsets me the most about all of this, is not only are some people sending them money, and giving them credit card numbers, but its people like this that make other people from other countries here, look bad. Someone sees a man with a turban on his head, and automatically thinks its a terrorist, AND THAT BREEDS HATE!

Been awhile.........ive missed you all a lot!

Not only IRS they have been having several scammed over utility's lately. People have been receiving phone calls telling them they are way behind on their bills ect and they have to pay it or get it turned off.

Here not long ago in the area they had a group going door to door on the elderly. Telling them their electrical was not up to date and they needed all these repairs. Telling them they were from the electric company. Several put out over $10,000 in fake repairs before they figured out they had been taken... That group was just recently caught...But those that lost life savings are the ones suffering...

You never ever do any thing over the phone for payment if someone calls you... Always turn around and call the number you know and check on any type of payments that is needed...

As far as the IRS as stated they never call you they always send out letters.

Thanks for the great info there! I am on high alert now! It's smart sweethearts in this World like you that keep us Dudes safe because God knows we wont ask for directions and we are not exactly detail oriented!
