When was the last time you were hated by all men? No matter the thread, they find reasons to attack me. I left the forum once, because a thread I created defending SororityGirl (who had never once been nice to me), but it quickly turned into a hate SpiderCMB fest. How I say it doesn't matter, it's what I say.

I'm not ashamed of my faith. If someone attacks my faith, I will defend it. Your own Pope has declared that only Catholics will be saved, so you should be far more tolerant with me, since I "don't know what they are doing".

My brother insulted my mother the other day and I gave him a peice of my mind. I love them both, but I won't let me brother bad-mouth the woman who raised us. You can love someone AND correct them when they are wrong. You never seem to notice that it's your beloved friends who become abusive first. I haven't threatened anyone. I haven't suggested that I would like to kill or see someone dead for having different beliefs. Where were you, my friend, when there were so many threads about killing the Spider? Where were you when YOUR FRIENDS were writing about wanting the amphibious arachnid to die? It's cowardly to never correct your friends, anyone can correct someone they don't like.

Ask anyone of those with whom you argue, and you'll see we have discussed issues with which we don't agree. I have maiden my point, they have maiden theirs. And I know we will not agree, but at least they know my point. the rest is God's job.
U see I'm catholic, and I love my church, but i strongly criticize a lot of things the Church have done across the centuries.
Right now I'm pissed with those priests that have sexually abused children, i will never let that pass. I've even wrote a letter to the Orlando's Bishop, asking to take a stronger position with regard the priests in the Orlando dioceses.

The problem is that I made a joke about needing to count the rosary, so that offended TLW's sensibilities...why the rosary is so sacred and TLW's friends can insult God with impunity is still in question.

Why TLW has friends who claim that Jesus was a pagan, while Christians are clearly told to avoid anyone who uses the gospel to teach non-Christian doctrine, is beyond me.

Basically, if I'm right or wrong, I'm sick of Christianity being attacked. I'm sick of seeing TLW ignore blatant blaspheme from his friends, while he attacks me for a joke about a rosary...and I was the butt of the joke! I KNOW God's truth and I am not afraid to defend it. Maybe I am too harsh sometimes, but it is usually one against many. Just me defending Christianity, while TLW's friends take the Bible out of context, lie about what is in the Bible, insult the intelligence of all Christians and they all get a pass. And TLW shows up in the thread to shake his head at me and bemoan that I am so full of hate. Ignoring the three pages of insults that come before I start to lose my temper.

You ONLY see what you want to see. Abra calls God "pathetically nagative" and Christianity "despicable" and you see nothing offensive. Or at least, you remain silent. Maybe seeing page after page of insults thrown at Christianity and God doesn't make you feel a little angry, but it does me. Jesus got angry too. Anger has it's place, when it is appropriate to be angry at the behavior of others, there is no sin.

Yes. Ok. Got it. What you ever learned about humility? Your god, his god, her god would not want you to get sick, have a stroke, or heart attack stressing over the issues. I don't see a problem here. Can't save the world. Can't change others who don't see your thinking. Checking your expectations works for me. Mad at the crazy lady driver who damn near got ya. Upon checking your expectations you find out she's in labor, water broke and she really needs to get to the hospital. It helps. This is a forum.
