If he's being tried in a civilian court, they have to mirandize him...In view of the limited interrogation he's received, I think it's a big mistake because it gives him the right to remain silent....But hey, what's loss of valuable intelligence that could save lives in comparison to respecting the "civil" rights of a suspected terrorist....

I thought illegal combatants were shot in WWI and WWII. I don't recall any being brought to "justice" in a US court.

But I don't remember illegal combatants coming to our courts from Korea or Vietnam either. When did things change? |

I thought illegal combatants were shot in WWI and WWII. I don't recall any being brought to "justice" in a US court. They also didn't take FBI Agents in with Seals or Delta's to capture a HVT either. I am guessing that was Obama's little ploy so the FBI Agent could arrest him not the military so there would be no debate on whose custody he should be in. Obama is a waste of air. |
