I remember as a kid.. helping stock the boat, getting dressed in layers and heading out into the bay with my Dad, big brother and Mom just before sunset.. finding THE spot and dropping anchor.. then getting ready for the onslaught of the perch schools.. didn't take long before we were all hauling'em in one after another.. nice ones too.. than an hour later, just before dark, heading back to our dock to unload the boat AND start cleaning fish.. one Saturday night we cleaned fish till almost MIDNIGHT.. we'd caught over 150 fish that evening.. funny how I enjoy fishing... the baiting, catching and cleaning'em part.. but for the LIFE of me.. can't stand the taste of'em

I haven't fished in VERY long while.. years actually.. still have all the tackle and rod etc.. but just haven't found the time OR partner that wanted to join me.. someday, I'll go again though.. but with today's mercury levels etc.. he's one mighty fine looker bnj.. does he have a brother?? I am sure we can round one up I have been missing my boys so much the past couple of months. I have added a Blue Roan Quarter horse to my list of goals. I would prefer a foal so all of the training will be done by me. Jet proved to me that I prefer to train my own boys, even though he was awesome, he had issues from the past abuse. |
