Topic: Good things come to those that wait. | |
---|---|
I bounce around the forums and think to myself. "wow, these people are very open about finding the right person"
Now that isn't a bad thing. Knowing what you want and going for it. I just find the whole idea of technology intermingling with social interactions completely fascinating and revolutionary. With such a fast paced world, we almost are expecting the kind of person we want to meet to be available right away. I know what I want and I'm happy to wait most of the time. At the base of everything that we're all looking for here is basic friendship. Just an observation. Wanted to get out a bit more and spread my wings in the forums so to speak. Not bad for a freebee. More of a mental splurge than an organized thought post. Human interactions cant be ordered at a drive-thru. |

Welcome. There are a lot of great people here. Some you need to be careful of as well. Wish you the best.

Hey
Knowing what you want is the key to many good things. If people want to join you then it's also a cool thing. |

You're in your early 20's, married and searching for an intimate encounter....obviously you didn't wait very long and are not exhibiting a lot of patience in your existing relationship but it does sound like you don't have a clue as to what you really want or are looking for...but whatever that is welcome to Mingle, if for nothing more than the interaction with some great people.

I'm not so fixed in my ideas about what I'm looking for. I've got my preferences and ideas about the sort of woman that I would like to be with in an ideal world but life doesn't really work that way and none of the women that I've met that were special to me were really exactly what I was looking for. Maybe that's why it didn't work out with them but nevertheless, it seems to me that it's a fool's errand to hold out for the sort of woman that might look ideal on the drawing board but that I never really click with in reality and it's too late now for me to change who I am so that I could attract some "perfect woman".

I was going to say something similar, Missy. Damn it woman: stop reading my mind! And dude, really?! Married looking for hook-ups already? What the heck kind of marriage was that? Shot-gun marriage? Get divorce, move on, go to a cheating site... What's wrong with you?! Get therapy... |

Hi IP <<Funny that!!..."Human interaction can't be ordered at a drive thru"...Good observation!...But are you sure?...Just yesterday I ordered a cheeseburger and got a fish sandwich...When I complained the "dude" at the window flipped me off so I unwrapped the fish sandwich, threw it at him and told him to keep the change...I thought that was a great human interaction! ...Welcome to mingle...I wish you luck, love, and intimate interaction! |
