Topic: Online dating is awful... | |

Is there anyone out there who honestly wants to go out on a date and not carry on a long distance relatonship on this site?
if the answer's yes- lets get a group together for every friday.. |
Pat, I think almost EVERYONE on here wants to go out on a date. Getting to know a wide variety of people is the first start.
Sometimes distance is secondary. |

You are sooooo right- it's so sad when a single person has to stay home on a friday nite...even something as simple as a double or triple date in a group...meeting up at a location, and seening who clicks...that might work..
True.... but I think that staying home on a Friday night is sometimes kinda good. Gives me time to process the week and look ahead to the weekend.
Isn't there anywhere to go in NY? |
If it's so pathetic then why are you here?
i agree just in the issue that distance is the killer. i feel u in that one.
but i have found too many lovely people that even if i never find anybody here i would stay for the good friends i have here |
Hey there you can always go out by your seft on Friday nights, and you chat with woman thats how you get to know someone!! I go out with out a guy, if i live where you were i would go out with u as a friend>>>>> |
I never said it was pathetic..i was noting that a group of people can set up a gathering and have fun together..
secondly...because im pathetically heartbroken over a breakup and would love to meet a good group of people- hell, who wouldnt.. last: cause others feel the same way but wont even bring up the idea of meeting a group of people... |
I work Fri. nights or I'd be out there!!......

Denise is a woman full of light we spent 3 wonderful hours in a starbuck in LA I would love to talk to her agaim |
we are all on here looking for a relationship
what has to happen though is start out as friends and as for distance it should not make any difference i mean the saying goes love has no boundaries |
Miguel...
I am SOOOOO jealous, I would LOVE to meet her... |
awwww...thanks Nancy- that was sweet. ( notice how nancy emphasises the word " FRIEND...")Uggghhhhhh..
Of course, id love that, nancy. one has to establish a relationship before setting the spark, so nancy is right to use that terminology- overall, if anyone in nyc wants to start a dating club- im in and would love to get this idea rolling... |
it has no boundaries i agree
sadly for me i'm a person of face to face interaction i feel something for somebody, but she is far away and i'm afraid to set my feelings free because i feel so frustrated because i can't do thing with his person and i'm so damn broke i can't go there |
It could always work out, Miguel...you know
maybe
who knows |
well said...
...replying to nancy's post- Single people HATE walking around like deniro from taxi driver to find someone....and where some people like to look lovingly at the computer at a virtual person, other people such as myself use this forum to find good people for a possible match..... |
