my feet take me to the dock i try calling your name but it's as if a stone is in my throat i hear the invitation of the lake come, see your face in the lake i sit upon the deck and peer down into inky black water my face floats, stays as if searching i breathe, softly exhaling for i see your face, floating in the water for you have found a place to be, forever
