Topic: Today, Tomorrow, Tonight

I do not believe this was properly explained to me, I am fairly sure that I was misled, Someone lied. Someone lied to me today, Someone lied about tomorrow, Right before they told me it cannot be saved. Right before they dropped the oil into the Ocean, Right before the bombs hit the sand, And everything started to end. And everything started over again, And the revolving door is still turning 360s, Here we stand two steps behind where we began. Here we stand about face towards the wall of the prison, Here we are again and again and again, It is like history was written to be repeated. It is like we are after something we cannot have, It is like we are steadily pushing over those in front of us, As long as tomorrow still follows the night. As long as tomorrow still follows the night.
