Hey Gypsy, got any old wrapping paper?

Make them a dangly octopus, in the centre of a sheet of wrapping paper place an old tennis ball, rubber ball...turn the paer over and tie with string...you have his head....cut the rest of the paer into strips up to the head....tie him off the back of a chair on an old piece of elastic...they may love shredding him.

In a locale where water is abundant (or if you have facilities for managing it in a way appropriate for your cats) a continuous trickle of water can keep a cat occupied for hours.

I once left a cat fooling around at a bathroom sink while I prepared some breakfast only to hear as I was returning a rather loud splash followed by a very wet and upset cat rushing past me at speed. He'd fallen into an open toilet.

Styrofoam that companies use to pad boxes for shipping.

Packing peanuts are the polystyrene chips that come with some stuff....could be a choking hazard if they are 'chewy' kind of cats...

I was lucky. My cats didn't chew on them. they just scattered the dang things all over the floor.

Be glad you don't get a lot of them. It was fun watching my black cat jump in a box of them and come out looking like a dalmation in reverse...that is until I realized I was the one that was gonna have clean them up.

I've had cats that really enjoyed a knotted sock. Maybe you can add one to your cat mobile.

My dogs get huffy if I call them dogs. They consider themselves four-leggers.

Hmmm animals that have shared our house...or yard, as 'pets'..

Dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, cockatiels, finches, injured kookaburras, rainbow lorikeets(couldn't fly because of injuries), chooks, ducks, geese, turkeys, guinea fowl, peacocks, cockatoo, goats, a sheep, a pig, horses, an alpaca, (llama), a pet goanna, (that got run over, and recuperated with us) various aged wallabies and kangaroos that had been orphaned as babies...sheesh there's probably more...I thought I wanted a camel for a while, but nope, didnt happen.(santa forgot to leave me one)
