I made a point of my kids meeting my dates, at least after three or four dates..at a "family" kinda thing. If the lady did not like my kids or vice versa..that generally ended the relationship

I always pay attention to how my animals & the kids react to a guy & how he acts around them when he doesn't think anybody is watching..

I wish I could remember the last time I even had a date. hmmm

Catch is so right about the animals. Pay close attention on how they react. Even more so than small children.

I have made the mistake of bringing people (1 in particular) around my boy too early. After he started showing unacceptable behaviors, he was kicked to the curb. Then I got the fun job of explaining it to my son why this man was no longer around.

My ex-husband thinks I should do a 3 month rule. Yes, we talk about this stuff. I seem to remember him bringing D around girls before 3 months, but he is remarried and I can't remember that far back. Heck, I have trouble remembering yesterday.
