Topic: Does Anyone Else Find This Weird? | |
---|---|
Does anyone else think that it's weird to hear an ex bf call his current gf by the same term of endearment he used for you? (or vice versa) How many of you do that? Do you think it's a big deal? |

every bf Ive had always called me "Babe" I think its a universal term of endearment!!

You never do that? Or you never think it's a big deal?

Its easier... that way you don't have to remember thier name

It depends on what the term is and how it's being used. I often use honey, babe, sweety, etc. when speaking to people, but if it's something a little more intimate, then yes, it may be a bit ackward.

weird no. but it can kinda hit a soft spot tho.

I'd find it weird & uncomfortable unless, as some people mentioned, it's something more common, like babe, hon, etc.

Ya, most of my ex's call me babe or baby or what ever. Pretty generic. But I really don't think men think about it. It's all about what easy for them to remember. I mean, god forbid should they have another nickname to remember. They already have a hard enough time remembering holidays.

<------ the one and only "Picklehead" ( not a term of endearment in THAT sense ... just a pet name from a special friend ) |
|
|
|
I always try to find something unique to give that special lady her very own pet name.

I have called many g/fs the same "pet name" depends on the girl
