i had not. didn't think i was gonna like it from the intro, but it got better. just down the road a piece...macon where everything is in color

YAY the LAWN is mowed the LAWN is mowed mind you.. I must've slaughtered a few thousand skeeters shivers may they rest in peace.. however the UP side is.. they won't be BITING me unless of course some of their kin survived.. which COULD mean they might be plotting a mass bite fest at this very moment damnable vengeful lil beasties.. I DID manage to see two really weird lil aminals though.. crazy lookin lil things.. I was mowing along, minding my own business when ONE of'em just shot out about 3 feet in front of the tractor and bolted for the tree line.. it startled me to the point I just sat there and watched the lil gerbil like creature bounding (yes.. like a scared deer) across the open stretch of freshly mowed lawn.. the first thought that came to mind was "wow.. they have some mighty big ears for such lil creatures" my 2nd thought was "it's not a chipmunk or a mouse.. what IS it" knowing now it was safely away from the churning mower blades, I continued on my dreary deed humming away.. when not 10 mins later I was startled by yet anOTHER of these tail-less lil oddities.. "now I KNOW they're not chipmunks" I thought and spied the humongous ears again and giggled thinking "my.. what big ears you have grandma" anywho.. tried finding something that LOOKED like it online.. haven't yet.. thought maybe it was a shrew.. but thinking not really now.. I'll find out what it is SOME how.. if not it'll kinda bug me till I do ANYways

too bad the frogs aren't a lil bigger round here though.. those that got beheaded during the 'mow' could have been a tasty snack instead of giving their lives needlessly for an unnecessary cause.. sighs oh well.. I'm just doing my small part in keeping the balance of the eco-system! that said.. I am NOT allowing the grey tree frogs make whoopie in my pool again THIS year.. I've made them their own lil pool out back and have NO desire to fish hundreds of tadpole babies outta the danged pool just so I can SWIM! not this year.. besides.. the kids swore to me LAST year they'd NEVER help me aGAIN.. so I'll be starting my pool early this year.. which simply means I gotta do that this weekend.. guess thats ONE good thing about all the rain we've been having.. the pools fillin all on it's own
