Topic: question..please help. thank you | |

I was just glancing at some comments in the forums. And there are a couple where friend seemsto mean more than just friendship. Not being familiar with dating terminology, when I say I'm looking for friendship is that implying something different? Thank you in advance for responding.

No, it means what you think it means.
It is like using the word 'love' in here. It may mean someone just really likes you, in a cyber-world kind of way. Or, maybe they really DO love you, though without having met you in person, that can be more of a hopeful thing. Some people can even throw the word 'friend' around when they really mean acquaintance. I would assume the best and let go the rest :-) |

Myself being almost as experienced, I think Soufie is right on. But. I am a FEmale....guys are another breed...you friend? they have your clothes off...you LOOK at them...they're guessing what color sheets you have...so, let it mean to you what it does mean to you. You still might have to explain to the aliens later.... sorry guyz..yanno I lurves ya just a little joshin' |

Yeah, to me if I say I'm looking for friendship, sex is off the table. But it seems to mean a challenge to some guys. And probably some women too, to be fair.

Yeah, to me if I say I'm looking for friendship, sex is off the table. But it seems to mean a challenge to some guys. And probably some women too, to be fair. I agree with this ladys opinion. I'm in College where social intercourse is a necessity and in some cases a survival skill. I make lady friends regularly and they with I. Trading ideas, thoughts, patterns of effective approach to problems and jokes and personal problems just comes with the territory. Imo, if people get hung up and sex is a problem then maybe the problem isn't sex, but them and how they view it. Just saying.... |

Friendship is the more versatile feeling than sex. Sex is easier to have than a FRIEND.
