“Until You Give All”

You say you know how to show.
Your love and let others know.
But even through the words you throw.
You really can’t let your love flow.

In your eyes you can’t see it is you.
And in the things you say and do.
You really do not have a clue.
For you look at it in a different view.

Though you see the beauty life can hold.
And to others you have told.
In your heart there is a part that is cold.
When it should instead all be like gold.

Though you say your emotions run high.
You admit you never cry.
One must wonder why.
That you still deny.

You can not give all.
Could it be from your life you recall?
While growing up and when you were small.
Within your heart did you build a wall?

Life you have learned to live.
To your children you have leaned to give.
You have learned how to survive.
Through your kids you have learned to forgive.

The love you have for them is very clear.
It can be seen and very sincere.
Even still you never shed a tear.
Deep inside do you still have the fear?

If you give all they will turn.
And walk away is this your concern?
Even though love is something you yearn.
Someday you must realize one will return.

All the love you are willing to give.
You must open your eyes and your heart for it to arrive.
Then you will truly know what it is to thrive.
Then you will find out what it is to really like to live.

my texas wind, this is my favorite, all the walls, from even when we were precious kids, so hard to climb, to be real, even the kindest of us, there is a bit of acting, but how do we become real, this is the second question to life, the first, how do we find the spirit that gave birth to our souls
