Why is it when I set a mileage limit I get mail from 3000 miles away ??

If you have been here and set the distance: http://mingle2.com/inbox/mail_settings often what can happen is, if there is a small pool of potential matches, the list will expand to other areas.

You currently do not have your mail filters activated, so people from all over the globe can message you. http://mingle2.com/inbox/filters You may have your Search radius set, but that doesn't prevent members outside of that range from contacting you.
