Just remember, tho: It goes both ways. A lot of guys gravitate towards a woman that treats THEM like crap, and they shun the good women--and there are a LOT of good women--out there.

i would have to agree with knoxman. i some times wonder what a guy is up to when he is being so nice. some women like to chase and like another member said it is low self-esteem. some women are just desperate and will settle.

Well once again i have to disagree you hear the same ole crap over and over you eventualy believe it Now I expect you women to deny it but it is very true... women can be just as cruel as men. Now i'm not saying all women, there are a few nice women ( I have the exact amount written down somewhere) I don't suffer from low self esteem...i am what i am....like it or leave it but i have seen some that crawl into a shell and never come out all because of women.

Self esteem...is the inner monolgue...you cant be given it....only choose to receive it. Whether high or low, it's personal perception...if you live externally...if you exist only in the opinions of others...then you will allow your esteem to be affected.

your mentality can be bruised just as well as your skin take 10 ppl and split them into 2 groups of 5 1st 5 tell them how wonderful,goodlooking...etc etc do the opposite to the 2nd group over a period of time this will affect their view of themselves usualy starts at childhood of course or in their teen years ppl can effect your mentality and self esteem is nothing more than mental

I have to agree with both Steve and Kate. Some of us have had it pounded in so long that we believe we cant get anyone else and then throw in the fear of threats if we leave and that is why women stay.
